DEPOT PARK
Michigan's Iron Belle Trailhead!
Downtown Ironwood's Depot Park is home to the Depot Museum, park pavilion and marks the beginning of Michigan's Iron Belle Trail. Have a cookout or schedule your event at the pavilion today! Depot Park is also home ground for Festival Ironwood and the Depot Farmers and Artisans Market. Inside the Depot itself is located the Ironwood Area Historical Society and Ironwood Chamber of Commerce.
Mt. Zion
Skiing, Mountain Biking, Scenic Overlook, Frisbee Golf
Mt. Zion is Located on the campus of Gogebic Community College and owned and operated by the college. Open to the public, the Mt. Zion complex also serves as a laboratory for the college's nationally recognized Ski Area Management Program. Mt. Zion is well-known for very reasonable ski rates, numerous "Learn to Ski and Snowboard Programs" for children, and our very own, snow-tubing park. Enjoy beautiful vistas, mountain biking, and Frisbee golf in the summer.
Miners Park
A Tribute to the Legends of Ironwood!
Occupying a landscape that in former times was crisscrossed by iron mines and attendant support buildings, the Miner’s Park is a regional destination park that offers a wide variety of silent and motorized recreational opportunities. You can cross-county ski, snowshoe, hike, bike, ATV, and snowmobile within the boundaries of the Miner’s Park. This park also connects the neighborhoods and the city trails to the regional Iron Belle Trail. Click the link to see the Miner’s Park
Pat O'Donnell Civic Center
The Pat O’Donnell Civic Center is a brand new ice skating and multi purpose facility located on the campus of Gogebic Community College. Situated at the base of Mt. Zion Ski Hill, the Center has an all season skating rink and is home to the , Ice Crystals Figure Skating Club, and youth ice hockey teams. Open year-round, the Civic Center also hosts such popular community events as the craft show, the home show, and various sporting shows.

Longyear Park
Downtown Art Park
Art and Culture on Main Street!
Developed in 2015 as part of a local crowdfunding effort, Ironwood’s Art Park was established to allow for the public display of outdoor art in the heart of the downtown art district! The park is directly across the street from the Historic Ironwood Theatre, the Downtown Art Place, and Art Studios on Aurora. Also hosting musical performances, the Art Park is an important addition to the downtown cultural center.
Hiawatha Park
Within the park is the Hiawatha Statue, one of Ironwood's most iconic landmarks. The statue was built in 1964 as a roadside tourist attraction. The park has the newest and largest playground structure in the City of Ironwood. The Park is one block from Downtown and is connected to the Miners Park mountain bike and hiking trails that connect throughout the City. Take the trail to get almost anywhere in the City. Hiawatha park is located in the hilltop neighborhood of Norrie, which overlooks much of the City and the Downtown. Make sure to check out some of the old mining and railroad pieces as well.
Gogebic Country Club
18 Hole Golf Course
The Gogebic County Club features a full 18-hole course, playing 6,030 yards of golf for a par of 71. Gogebic Country Club course rating is 67.0 and it has a slope rating of 113. Built in 1922, the beautifully constructed stone clubhouse boasts three stone fireplaces, full bar and lounge, and provides a scenic view of the course and surrounding landscape.

New Tennis Courts
Located just one block from Longyear Park, the Paterson tennis courts provide two fenced-in full courts for exciting tennis action. The courts are also lined for Pickleball. The courts are adjacent to Riverside Cemetery and the River Walk Trail.
Hiawatha Skate Park

Krznarich Little League Field
These well maintained regulation Little League fields (baseball & softball) includes bleachers, stadium lights, a concession stand, restroom facilities, hiking trails, mountain bike single track, and playground equipment. These fields are the envy of any baseball organization. The field is located on the corner of Vaughn and Day Streets.
Lake Street Playground
This playground is located at the corner of Lake Street and Ayer Street has features modern built playground equipment, basketball hoop and swings. Easily entertaining for all ages!
