City of Ironwood personnel annually maintains the system by rebuilding catch basins, manholes and culverts. City staff also cleans both sanitary and storm sewer mains. The City of Ironwood has been very fortunate to obtain funding to replace a defective infrastructure that is approximately 100 years of age.
